Favorite people are hard to find.  When you find those special people in your life, you keep them around.  I met Heather 8 years ago just before she moved to the Washington D.C. area from Chicago.  I couldn’t even tell you how we became friends (especially because she recently admitted that *gasp* she didn’t like me when she first met me) but we have been through a ton in 8 years.  New boyfriends (for us both), our first real jobs in the same place, new pets, new homes, now both of our engagements, she was one of my bridesmaids, and the person who brought some of her sparkle and lots of decorations to my hospital room when I was admitted for 3 months.

She and Justin have been together for 6 of the years I’ve known Heather.  He moved all the way here from the Lone Star State, Texas so they could be together.  Texans are pretty loyal to their home town so that speaks volumes!  I’m so very happy they have found one another and will be getting married this July.

It was so fun taking their photos, but goodness was it cold!  They toughed it out and somehow, so did I.  It was easily 30 degrees with the wind chill.  The light was amazing and their pups picked our location for their photos.  We walked all over the place for photos and had a ball.  I am only showing you one of many of their goofy photos–but I have more!

Enjoy these sneaks!
