As a Northern Virginia Family Photographer for more than 13 years, I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse array of families. From young families with 3-under-3, blended families, families documenting their graduating seniors before they leave home for college, and more.
Family photo sessions are a wonderful way to document your growing family year over year, or celebrate a birthday or other special family milestones.
Family photo sessions are offered either in studio, or an outdoor location in Northern Virginia that I am permitted to take photos at.
Outdoor family photos in Northern Virginia offer beautiful park scenery. They provide space to play, wiggle, explore, and let everyone’s personalities shine. Full family sessions are offered year round, with mini sessions available seasonally.
Full Session or Mini Session – Which is Right for You?
Family Session
Your photo session with your Northern Virginia Family Photographer can include your immediate family, just the kids, or your extended family (grandparents too!) Session includes your choice of location from our permitted parks, or the Jamie Romaezi Photography studio.
- 1 hour photo session
- 20 digital images with product upgrades available
- Choice of outdoor or studio session, with your choice of outdoor location.
- Planning, conversations, and communication before, during and after your session
- Time with you photographer for the duration of your family photo session
- Post-session photo editing
- $200 non-refundable retainer, and client agreement due to reserve your session.

Mini Session
Your mini session with your Northern Virginia Family Photographer can include your entire immediate family or just the kids. Mini session dates and location are chosen by the photographer. View the upcoming event calendar!

- 5 digital images with product upgrades available
- Photographer-selected session date and location
- Planning, conversations, and communication before, during and after your session
- Time with you photographer for the duration of your family photo session
- Post-session photo editing
- Payment in full ($187.50 non-refundable retainer fee,) and client agreement due to reserve your session.

- Weekend sessions are limited. All sessions are subject to availability and require a contract and retainer fee to hold a session reservation.
- Extended family sessions (grandparents, siblings, cousins, etc.) available upon request.
