I first met the Alper Family last year during a holiday mini-session and I’m so happy that they returned this year for updated family photos.
What made the photos even more special and touching was their inclusion of their angel baby, Matthew in all the images.
Let’s talk about how photogenic this family is! Seriously, the parents are both gorgeous in their own right and then their children with the beautiful hair, eyes and matching smiles. Can we just put them on a magazine cover already?
The children were also so well behaved – I got some amazing individual shots of them too!
The flowers on the dress and in her hair, on top of the Peter Pan collar… so cute!
And these two brothers – they look so grown!

Did you know that I offer wrapped newborn mini sessions? I do! They are held on weekdays only, focus on your sweet baby, swaddled up and sleepy. Pop over to my rates page for more detail.
I love newborn sessions and this little boy was just after my own heart. So easy to photograph as he slept nearly the entire time, which meant we were able to pull of a bucket pose, which isn’t often accomplished during a wrapped newborn mini session.
The grays and neutrals, requested by his parents, worked so well and made their baby boy stand out even more.
If you are looking for a newborn photographer in the Northern Virginia area, I would love to work with you. Posed newborn photos are taken at my in-home studio in Sterling, VA when your baby is between 6-14 days old. It is important to book your newborn session no later than the beginning of your third trimester.
I met the Mairs family this past spring and this is their second time coming for a photo visit. During the last visit, little dude had just started to walk–and my oh my has he practiced running in the meantime! Smiles were not a problem, but sitting still was a total faux-pas in his book! That’s totally okay. I love chasing the littles. Big bro, however was a total pro smiling patiently until little dude was ready to squeeze one out for me. Just look at these four though! Such an adorable family to work with.

These fine folks are some of my very favorite people. They have become a second family to me since I met Millie–one of my very best friends. They came out to visit for my April mini-session to surprise their mom for Mother’s Day and kept the laughs coming. Their silly banter and princess poses were a serious riot! I had to wait to share these but am so glad I finally can. It was really hard to pick favorites since they are all so photogenic!
