The Gonzales family is one that is close to my heart. I have photographed them as a family of 3. Last year I had the privilege of photographing birthday boy’s birth . Not only was he a cute baby but he’s an even cuter 1-year old. Do you see those adorable dimples he and his sister are so lucky to share?!
Seeing these four all together like this is so much fun for me. Watching families grow in love is one of the best things.
And how lucky is Ethan? His smash cake was made by his very own mom, who is a local baker, with her own bake shop, Pink Polka Dot.
You can tell how much Ethan loves his Airplane (red, white and blue) themed cake. He couldn’t take his eyes off it!

I first met the Alper Family last year during a holiday mini-session and I’m so happy that they returned this year for updated family photos.
What made the photos even more special and touching was their inclusion of their angel baby, Matthew in all the images.
Let’s talk about how photogenic this family is! Seriously, the parents are both gorgeous in their own right and then their children with the beautiful hair, eyes and matching smiles. Can we just put them on a magazine cover already?
The children were also so well behaved – I got some amazing individual shots of them too!
The flowers on the dress and in her hair, on top of the Peter Pan collar… so cute!
And these two brothers – they look so grown!

This family of four explored McCrillis Gardens for their family photos. I met them just after their youngest was born for lifestyle newborn photos. It was so great to see them again now that little miss is two!
Big brother was so ready for photos and gave me tons of smiles. He even roped little sis into sitting on my new kid bench with him for a few shots. We got a few smiles from little sister too, but not before working for them. She was so in love with the “fow-lers” and exploring the garden that this crazy photographer had to wait until she was done. The purple flowers were her fave, by the way.
This was my first time working at McCrillis Gardens and I was impressed by the flowers still in bloom even though it was a chilly fall morning. I hope I get to explore this location again in the spring next year.
I hope you enjoy these photos!
